IDC Products - Year 2000 Compliance

QUESTION:  Are IDC Products Year 2000 (Y2K) Compliant?

ANSWER:  All IDC control products listed below perform no date-related processing and hence are Year 2000 compliant. All IDC mechanical actuator and positioning table products have no date related circuitry and are Year 2000 compliant.

DETAILS:  As part of the Year 2000 testing, all IDC products  were evaluated. The following provides details on these components.

IDC MECHANICAL PRODUCTS

All IDC mechanical actuator and positioning table products that contain no electronic  components have no date-related processing and are therefore Year 2000 compliant.

IDC APPLICATIONS SOFTWARE

IDC supplies the following free application software for help in setting up, tuning and programming its intelligent motion control products.  This software performs no date-related calculations or processing and therefore should operate correctly in the Year 2000.  This assumes that the software is used on a computer system that is Year 2000 compliant.
