Compliance of IDC Products to UL and CE Standards
Industrial Devices Corporation provides high quality products designed for industrial applications. In support of this we have sought to qualify our products to a variety of recognized industrial standards. Industrial Devices Corporation is pleased to offer a number of products which meet the standards set by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and the European Community (CE).

This symbol signifies that the product is recognized by Underwriters Laboratory for standards set by the US and Canadian Market. The product is considered a component in a system and has passed Underwriters Laboratory tests for that product type. |

The CE mark certifies that a product complies with European Union (EU) standards or "directives " that apply to this particular products market. CE compliance is required to sell an increasing range of products in the EU, including factory automation equipment. |

Notes on CE Compliance
In order to conform to CE standards, a product needs to pass tests set by certain CE directives. Different CE directives apply to different product types. In the chart above, the numbers next to the CE symbol indicate the CE directives a product complies with in order to affix the CE mark.
(1) The CE industrial immunity directive (EN50082-2)
(2) The CE industrial emissions directive (EN50081-2)
(3) The CE machine safety directive (EN60204-1)
(4) The CE low voltage directive (EN61010-1)
Industrial Devices Corporation submitted all of these products to an independent laboratory for CE testing and certification.
Notes on Products Recognized by Underwriters Laboratory
Industrial Devices Corporations products that are UL recognized all meet Underwriters Laboratory standard 508C. The UL file for these products is E156155. All UL recognized products ship with the appropriate UL markings on the outside of the shipping box as well as on the product itself.
